The Headfirst College Advisory Team (HCAT) is a proud partner of All-Star Performance (ASP)—the premier state-of-the-art indoor training facility for baseball and softball in the greater Missouri area.  Both HCAT and ASP share the philosophy that the athletes we work with deserve the best in terms of coaching, college advising and mentoring.

HCAT is the premier national college sports and academic advisory program for high school student-athletes and their families.  HCAT reduces the information gap between colleges, their admissions offices, their athletic programs and the high school baseball/softball players who will eventually sustain their programs.  HCAT:

1. Helps student-athletes and their families effectively navigate the “ins and outs” of the entire recruiting and admissions process

1. Is designed for college bound athletes whose ability projects at any collegiate level: Division I, II, III, NAIA or Junior College. 

1. Provides information on and understanding of:
   1. Athletic programs and college coaches (their styles, personalities, recruiting trends, etc.)
   2. Chances of admissibility at various institutions
   3. How to wisely construct a college list that matches your profile
   4. A student-athlete’s ability to create the best academic option for himself/herself using athletics as an aid

In the last year, HCAT has provided advisory services for dozens of student-athletes helping them to gain admission to schools such as Columbia, Amherst, Lafayette, Pomona and many more throughout the country.

HCAT now features advisors in St. Louis who work at ASP.
